GREAT point. Most people just don’t have the faith/belief in themselves.

  2. Winchel says:

Nothing to fear but fear itself . We Are Powerful Being.
    Know The Truth.

  3. Ros says:

Haha! This first thing I did was ‘pause’ and go onto my terrace to look for the cicada! Was convinced it was there and not in your video – Duh! Back to your chat……..You really DID make me think about my behaviour, in particular, the fact that I’ve been following one particular IMer because he’s such a great orator, has charisma and is very motivational. However, when I take those talents away, there’s a lot of his stuff which is incomplete, vague and maybe just not good enough! Not that I’m saying that I’m s**t hot, just that it’s time I stopped being a follower, blindly assuming that everyone else knows better. Thanks for this jolt!
I like too that you don’t keep churning out emails – some of these guys do it daily which is so egotistical.
One disappointment – I thought you’d give us a blast of flamenco to finish off! Haha.

  4. Syed Akram says:

Yes your are 100% right. Nowadays people are bombard with so many things and don’t know what to do…OVERWHELM! I think after been long time online and not making enough money recently I realize the biggest lie about making money online which I posted about it in my blog. This is the main reason people keep on buying so many products from all those Guru’s.

  5. Arkadiy says:

    Greg Jacobs!
Dear Greg, please forgive me, but I can’t express on your reference in an ether. Greg, i don’t understand conversation on English language. It is my general trouble for today. I feel as leprous among Healthy people. Here and dream washing to earn and be among English-speaking people to study in very short term language. While it is difficult.

  6. Pat says:

I agree that you have to create your own dream. I have had to make a lot of tough changes in my life to do this. I am still laying the groundwork but I am moving forward happily. I happen to love the book Dune and the David Lynch movie. My favorite saying from the book is “Fear is the Mind Killer” and this is very true. Most things are never as bad as we imagine them to be.

  7. Hi Greg,

let me re-act on this.. Great share!

“Stop absorbing other peoples dreams – start creating and living your own!”
    How?
    Don’t react – Allow to be you(rself)!

    Thank you.

    P.S. My 2 ct.
“Stop or limit the INPUT – start giving more OUTPUT!”
This is esp. true for us IM’s – right..

  8. Steve Deerfield says:

Greg, your understanding and advice is most excellent, especially the concept of self-authentication. If new or seasoned IMers don’t understand the principle of dispassionate observation and non-reaction they’ll be eaten alive by the power of other’s influences. No one can buy self-identification or self-affirmation can they-but try still, many do. Thanks coach!

  9. Elizabeth says:

A great book about practicing this and training one’s mind is The Joy of Living by Mingyur Rinpoche.

  10. david says:

Napoleon Hill completed the work of the Andrew Carnegie dream, which he took 40 years to complete. This was taught by James E. Tolleson, who owned the author rights he purchased for $300,000 after having been the chairman of the board of the Napoleon Hill organization. He spent 5 years assembling training by recording all his seminars of over 7,000 hours, and cut to just over 4,000 hours. Only Kevin Trudeau makes the same principles available today, and the rest are watered down, missing the vital parts. ( The real vital part is what truth does to the open heart internally…a very difficult thing to put a price tag on. ) The retail value is USD $5,000.00 I bought the montage of this course for wholesale at only $400.00. One can never graduate, taking the original 13 principles up to 17 principles, really separating even the doers from the crowd and into the 1% of the 1%. I’ve been around those people.
The truth about having everything you want in life in the self help industry comes from either the author of the Bible, or from the adversary, who has mixed corruption into this knowledge which for the most part is actually the New Age religion as taught by all the Masonic followers of corrupted teachings. It requires great discernment to know the difference as you can imagine. As marketers and business people, one guy on the Tolleson course was the well known Dan Kennedy of the direct sales business, before the advent of internet marketing. You can find him on the net, but he no longer needs to put anything new out since it’s already been done. Tolleson knew the timing of the self help industry to know people were then prepared to listen, and he basically reinvented the industry launched in the early eighties, bringing out most of the great names known today, like Anthony Robbins for example. Beyond this experience of training from a Guru which Tolleson is not, is the greatest living example of the way to live. This comes from the bibically based mention by Jesus during his ministry of one he spoke of that would come in the last days. He is a direct bloodline descendant of Moses and Aaron, is alive and well today as a dual citizen of the US and Canada. He has more letters after his name than his name itself, has a photographic memory, is a medical intuitive, has been living by the leading of the Holy Spirit all his life, and therefore has been at the right place at the right time in countless events, for him to fulfill his role for humanity as foretold by Jesus.
The way anyone “kills” their Guru, is by developing their knowledge of just who and what they are, what it really means to be human, and to be aware of their own nature and the nature of all life. This is the greatest challenge of all life, and one of the greatest reason for being alive in the first place. One that extremely few people ever accomplish. If knowledge does not come from God as assisted by the angelic as messengers for you, then it comes from the adversary and his luminous followers…then unless you are given a personal invitation by these leaders of the global elite who themselves are posessed by transdimensional fallen of the angelic, you are never going to get passed the 4% of knowledge to the PhD on any given discipline of all the knowledge it contains, for those who attend a minimum of eight years to study at any ivey league institution of higher learning. Lets just say anything beyond the typical 4% PhD is by invitation only. All knowledge in the natural is as limited perhaps as looking through the eye of a needle at arms length compared to the space of the sky.
Since time itself is cyclical, there can be no discoveries. There is merely an extremely limited access to the akoshic records of all knowledge brought into one’s remembrance, for those records are not of our dimension, but are beyond space/time, where time no longer exists and one is always in the now. One of the greatest libraries of civilization few are even aware that exists is actually located well beneath the Vatican, beneath the one in it’s basement which conspiracy theorists claim is there. Yes this means there are two of them. One of the reasons the 3 lettered agencies go into other nations under the guise of war they bring about themselves, is to gain access to ancient knowledge. Civilization is now nearing the end of it’s fifth age of humanity. While I myself am still as a spiritual infant, my intuitive ability derived from my mother is in ongoing development, as is my self taught learning of many subjects. My mother was invited to be a member of MENSA which to her credit she refused. I am not even on their radar. The difficult issue for those who are, is that one knows one due to the level of awareness, and is therefore difficult to hide from. If you ever join them…you join for life, and only leave under penalty of death, and are on an extremely short leash by use of a 72 hr patch, since without replenishing it your dead. How’s that for compartmentalization.
As for a desert planet… the original 97,000 placed on the surface of Mars, ended with only less than 7,000 who survived. Today there are 1/2 million there. The current president was also there. This is no dream world either.

Since adulthood, my background has mainly been military intelligence, business development, sales and marketing in financial services and the energy industry.

  11. Greg,

This was a timely video as I have been working on that idea for some time now. Thank you for your input. You are correct in that it takes time to implement that philosophy because we are so used thinking that we may not be good enough to do xyz like the people we label as Guru’s. We just need to give ourselves permission because we are the only ones that can. Permission will never come from outside our selves.

    Thanks!

    Richard Mathiason

  12. Nubi says:

    Thanks Greg

this video has came in a very important moment, when i just feel so overwhelmed with so many emails, promising that they have the true…. actually, after listening to you i realized that i was just forgeting my self…. thanks for bring me back to my reality

  13. Arav says:

    Dear Greg,

It’s all about consiousness and what’s our goal in life.
Whatever we do or think, that will be our guide.

    Thanks for your sharing.

  14. Dan says:

Paradoxical thoughts, you contradict yourself. Influence and reaction. You just said: listen, don’t listen to me!

  15. Mark Dupuis says:

!st of all. Can you play that guitar…you should of strummed a few chords…lol
I like the simplicity of your page….clean….as well as you suggestions of engaging the brain prior
to opening your mouth…let you brains do the walking..
    There is an old saying
“Better to be silent sometimes and, people think your stupid”
than to Speak up right away and prove it”
    Thanks Greg

  16. Glen says:

    Greg,
History is totally replete with folk giving away their own power. Since the dawn of time.

There is ONLY ONE TRUE GURU.
    Your H-E-A-R-T.

Follow your passion, AS LONG AS ITS LEGAL to do so.
    Carl Jung once said:
” Your vision will become clear ONLY when you look into your heart: Who looks outside Dreams. Who looks inside awakens!”

  17. Lena says:

    Absolutely agree with you Greg

You just need to believe in yourself. Stop buying product and try to sell. That is why we are here. Right? But for some reason we are still buying, buying, buying

I know for sure I have enough knowledge just have to feel more confident

    Thanks for the video

  18. Thanks Greg for bringing this truth to the forefront. You just touched on something that I’ve realized since getting into this business about 4 months ago. Everyone’s trying to sale something or telling you what software can do this or that. I’m determined to succeed; therefore I have to do what the Guru’s did to get where they are, and it wasn’t by buying everything that’s out there to get where they are today!

Some of them didn’t pay thousands of dollars to having their own business, so why should you?

Just like the Gurus succeeded, so can you!

    Thanks for sharing

    You go Greg!

  21. Jerry Waxman says:

    Hey Greg;
    Some thoughts:
    1. Down here in Surat Thani, we get the cicadas at night. But we have birds – parrots and the like – all the time. Like in an aviary. I liked CM, but you oughta visit us down here when you have some time off.

    2. Your question: “If you could have someone’s life, who would they be?” I chose me. I may be working all the time and have nothing to show for it – yet – but I honestly would not want any other person’s life. Let them have it. I still have the best one.

    3. What inspired or instigated this talk? Getting tired of so much BS floating around and hardly anyone using critical thinking? The “Dune” analogy is kind of extreme, but makes a point. Seriously, Greg, come down to the southern part of the country sometime – no floods here at the moment. Spend some time on the islands.

Why does everything look so easy when someone else does it, yet proves to be so elusive why I try?

  23. Thanks Greg.

your videos are much appreciated ;)

  24. butch says:

Great insight Greg into human behavior.

  25. Thanks, Greg. I just happen to be publishing a book on this very subject. Always nice to hear it in someone else’s words.

  26. Marco says:

Nice thoughts like always! Okay I have to go now to reach my own dreams!

  27. rheed says:

cool strumming Greg ! Still like the fkcunig cows in the road rendition of mind mastery. As long as we can keep the fkcuing squirells from running the brain the house should be safe. New song to play on instrument of fun from the napatree with happy healthy healing vibes to you all and family. peace out

  28. Nicholas says:

    Hey Greg,

Thanks man, you moved me to… “begin the beguine”, (dance)… I’ve been standing still for far too long.

  29. Greg,

Two years ago I built my first blog.

Since then, I’ve created a mage empire, started my own SEO consulting business, published a book about internet marketing and in February 2012 I’m speaking at a wealth creation event about internet marketing to a large group of entrepreneurs.

You can have an affect on your own reality! I have done so…;)

Believe it’s true and start focusing on exactly what you want, then expect it to happen.

Remove all negativity from your life and keep the faith!

  30. Scott Mr, E says:

Thanks Greg I know just what you mean and yes I made a six figure income a few times online… If you want to know the real truth, then this is what you need to know… You only get out of it what you put in, so if you think you are going to make any cash on a system that is just one click riches, think again! It takes 90% hard content work 5% sweat and %5 luck to make real money online and my first year I made zero and then my first 100-K was all from 100% free traffic =] My persistence payed off… That was 9 years ago!
