    Greg,
You have put out a lot of good stuff, but this one may just be your best one yet. You have really put your finger on where I am and what I personally need to do. Heavy stuff, but yet so simple. I love it.
    Thanks!

  2. Esther says:

Interesting. We are exposed to lots of choices which can make us loose focus at times.
Great words to reflect on; Don’t blame anybody for anything, Focus on the process not the outcome and You cannot be wanting. Great for sharing your experience.

Considering all the things that have been invented and created in the US, perhaps the problem with you not being able to create in the US is a problem with you, and not the US. You were out of the environment you were used to creating in.

For me, I don’t know that I could create in the Thailand jungle. You probably don’t even notice the constant bird squawking (and rain?) we hear throughout your video. That might break my focus if I were to spend only a month there.

The truth is, I’m sure you and I could create anywhere once we find a way to focus… despite our environment.

LOL – The birds singing in the background were distracting to me as well.

With that said, I do agree with Greg, that while choices are fabulous, the more we have, the more time we focus on what we have access to and wanting “those things”, the less time we spend on connecting with The Light and transforming ourselves to simply manifest.

But realistically, and how it works and how to bet? It depends on the success.

interesting and very profound video Greg…

    I love your mindset… :)

I’ve always believed in positive thinking, there has never been a time where positive thinking hasn’t revealed its true power.

    Hey Greg,

Great video. It’s very true that many of us are the little guy in the mountain hut trying to make the perfect samurai sword! Nice philosophies, great focus. All the best in 2011 sure you’ll have another great year.

  7. Wow Greg,
I didn’t know that you had so much wisdom to share!
Thank you for the very insightful video, there are many truths that you mentioned that many need to hear to fix their own “inner game”. I am looking forward to checking out your other posts!

    Thanks again Greg!

  8. Very compelling video Greg, thank you. Focus on the process and not the outcome, so true. I remember, when I first went to vocal performance school to become a singer, my goal was to become a professional gigging musician – to be paid to sing in bands. But because I loved it so much, I just focused on each thing at a time – learning to develop range, chest voice, mic technique, harmonising etc, one at a time. When I was given my first payment for a gig, I said oh pay me later at our next one – then I realised, the money did not matter. I was focused on the process.
Your videos are captivating and I like that you speak slow and considered :-)

  13. Great thoughts Greg. I too have been pondering why 40 years ago I could build a million dollar business with a company in a year and today the companies will not even last a year. The answer is simple.

Technology has made it easy to get involved with the noise. We send out video, mass email, send to websites, send out testimonials etc. Everything is full of details and noise. We focus on the information and not the person.

Forty years ago with limited technology you had to spend personal time with your contacts. You found out by accident what they wanted and needed over a cup of coffee or driving to an opportunity meeting. Your focus was 90% on their personal requirements and only 10% on how to get there.

I am now moving my business back to the individual and not the details. I will have far fewer contacts but they will be premium and if they teach the same thing, everyone will overcome the noise and become successful.

Excellent video Greg certainly opened my eyes

  15. Daniel says:

    Greg,
Know what you mean about the mustard selection and rat race. I never think twice about buying FRENCH’S® Mustard at the store.

I viewed film The Secret on Netflix (2006) the other day. I haven’t seen it for about two years and recommend you all see it if you haven’t. It talks about the Law of Attraction. You are suppose to not want stuff, but already have the mindset that you have the stuff you want when you actually don’t.

Thank you for this video, Greg.

    Greg,

Thank you. Great timing for me.

Thanks for the real-time conveyance of your wisdom. Very genuine and on point.

  21. An interesting analogy, I would agree isolation is helpful in focusing the mind, however the sword maker working in his hut producing higher quality steel to those of modern manufacturers does not mean that the man did not have any training or past-on knowledge from generations of craftsmen, and many years of trial and error to forge his perfect sword. Also the man would have a normal life with family besides. It is my belief people focus the mind and do the best thinking in bed.
Wanting, stop the wanting you say, as long as the rent is paid.
It is a personal thing ‘the wanting’, some people actively prevent others from moving forward. Clearly people can be very happy with very little, but it all depends on many factors, level of awareness, education and available opportunities and what part of the world you live in etc., So many different mustard sources to chose from in one shop, when all some people need to do is go out to the plot or garden and pull up some mustard plants. Which is better compliment to a meal the green mustard plants or the yellow mustard sources with a hundred different things added? Who is ‘wanting’ mustard source?
Thank you for your video, it was enlightening!

  22. That’s a good revelation. It hits the nail on the head about the “wanting” part especially. Too much of that causes people stress in their daily lives and if we get what we want… we start wanting all over again.

  23. Interesting, marvelous and great analysis, Greg. Is much millian Dollars. Grat history and blog web world. Greetings.

  24. Angie says:

After listening to your presentation I came to the conclusion that you are like me in a number of ways. I live in a small town out in the country. In the morning I wake up to the sound of hungry goats and when all are fed, I enjoy watching the kids play. I have all kinds of birds that inhabit the trees. The afternoons I can look out the window to my from field and watch my neighbors horses prancing and playing. My neighbor does not have enough land to support his horses so I let him use my field. The evening is filled with watching a Skunk a Raccoon, a Stray Dog and a Cat sharing a meal out of the same container.

In the late summer, I have a family of deer eating all the pears and pomegranates off the trees. There are two red foxes that eat the berries that fall from the tree. What is really special is that none of the animals are afraid of me.

As you spoke of money I have to say that I really don’t need to make mega millions. By the same token, if I did make a boat load, it would give me the chance to help those in my tiny little hamlet. I believe in giving someone a hand up not a hand out. It really doesn’t take much but for some it’s either sink or swim. That means a lot to me.

Thank you for the reminder of what is really important.

P.S. We only have four kinds of mustard in our store
